We're proud to be on board as a sponsor of the St George Illawarra Dragons.

The chance came up to put our name behind the St George Illawarra Dragons this season. We build granny flats out of Corrimal. They’re the team that’s carried this region’s colours for the best part of forty years. Didn’t take a meeting.

Same Patch

The Dragons cover the same ground we do.

We work from the Illawarra up to Sutherland, down through the Shoalhaven and across the Southern Highlands. The kids walking through our display centre on a Saturday morning are the same kids running around in red and white at WIN on a Sunday. Same families. Same suburbs.

The Long Game

Both of us have been here a while.

Steelers, merger, every season since the club has worn this region’s colours through a few generations of weather now. We’ve been quietly putting up granny flats across the same suburbs one job at a time. Different work, same patch. The mindset’s the same: stick around, do the job properly, and let the region grow on the back of it.

What Did It For Us

It's not just about the signage.

It was the off-field work — the school visits, the Junior Dragons clinics, the kids’ stuff the club does across the region without making noise about it. That’s the part a sponsor’s name should sit next to.

Through the Season

We’ll be around.

Look out for the WGF name on a banner here and there through the year. If you spot one of us at WIN on a Saturday afternoon — odds are decent — come over and say g’day. We’ll be in red and white with everyone else. Go the Dragons. From everyone at Wollongong Granny Flats.
